  • Implementation and management of one of the first all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic.
  • Acquisition, refurbishment, re-positioning and successful operation of multiple hotels across the region. 
  • Assignment from large all-inclusive resort company on the sale of specific hotel properties in the region. 
  • Development and financing of 540 room hotel in the Punta Cana destination area of the Dominican Republic 
  • Construction and delivery of 100+ units of beach and marina front condominiums. 
  • Assisted client in the sale to a financial investor while retaining management of a master planned beach / golf / residential development. 
  • Restructure on behalf of borrower of over US$400 Million of indebtedness in the aftermath of the financial crisis.
  • Acquisition of a chain of four all-inclusive resorts with its brand.
  • Start-up and build-out of three successful all-inclusive beach resort companies in multiple countries and destinations, as well as creating and implementing five all-inclusive resort brands. 
  • Managing integration of institutional equity investors into the all-inclusive beach resort segment in the Caribbean / Latin America. 
  • Negotiation of dozens of hotel operation and hotel franchise agreements from the point of view of each of owner, operator, creditor, franchisor and franchisee. 
  • Investment bankers for the founding shareholders of a portfolio of 27 hotels and an associated timeshare program to run a process to identify potential acquirers, negotiate LOI, coordinate due diligence, and assist in closing. Approximate enterprise value: US$500 Million. 
  • Investment bankers for founding shareholders of major Latin American online travel agency (OTA) to identify potential institutional investors for a significant equity investment, negotiate LOI, coordinate due diligence, and assist in closing. 
  • Managing a sales process of a chain of all-inclusive resorts and a vacation club with an enterprise value of approximately US$450 Million. 
  • Advisory services to a major international real estate fund on an acquisition process for a multi-property hotel portfolio in the Latin American / Caribbean region.
  • Assignment from large all-inclusive resort company on the sale of specific hotel properties in the region. 
  • Arranging US$45 Million long term fixed rate public securitization to finance a beach hotel in El Salvador.
  • Arranging US$47 Million long term fixed rate public securitization to finance a beach hotel in Ecuador.
  • Assisted client in the sale to a financial investor while retaining management of a master planned beach / golf / residential development. 
  • Placing a US$300 Million syndicated loan facility on behalf of the borrower for a regional hotel owner-operator across six countries. Largest cross-border multi-property debt facility for an all-inclusive hotel company to date. 
  • Worked with leading US real estate and hospitality luxury brand in two multi=million dollar developments in the Dominican Republic and Uruguay.                                                                    
  • Acted as the investment banker of a regional family office in the sale of a prime parcel in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. Today this parcel  is home to two US branded luxury resorts.                 
  • As investment banker of a high network individual, structured and executed a development deal for the construction and operation of 519 resort complex in Cap Cana , Dominican Republic.
  • Conceptualization, design & development, of a mixed-use urban office / hotel / retail property in Panama, including negotiation of operating agreement with Luxury hotel operator, leasing of class A office space to principal tenants, and arranging exit for original developer to a financial investor. 
  • Acquisition of seven resort hotels from a large Mexican company in the process of liquidation 
  • Development and financing of a greenfield resort hotel on the island of Cozumel, Mexico 
  • Development and financing of a greenfield resort hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, pioneering the concept of a five-star all-inclusive. 
  • Acquisition, redevelopment and expansion of a resort hotel on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean
